Who are you?
Camille Omerin, passionate about fashion, and the designer of Maison Père.
How did you start in fashion?
Fashion was an evidence. At 10, I said already that I wanted to have "a chain of clothing shops"...
How would you define your style?
Elegant and refined, this 2 words embody the style of Maison Père. A boyish touch, some feminine details and always pretty fabrics and cuts.
What inspires you?
I'm inspired by old and vintage things, particularly by objects : furniture, frames, books, interior design... There is something very elegant and delicate when the time goes out, the emotion is the common trait of my collections. I will choose a fabric, I will define volumes or specific details that will make elegant clothes. Elegance is the key of desire.
A few words about this collection...
The first collection of Maison Père. It sets the tone and the basics of our identity. Elegant and delicate details, fur and embroideries, the perfect cut, the luxurious fabric.
What's your favorite piece in our selection?
The black angora cardigan. This piece is both easy and elegant, and will keep you warm all during the long cold days of winter.
What are you most proud of?
I'm proud of my coats, all of them have removable padded lining to keep you warm during winter. We can remove the technical lining and wear it as wished, even under another coat.
Where do you manufacture your products?
Maison Père makes its products in Europe, mainly in Portugal. We are so lucky to work with really good manufacturers, they were able to trust us, to join us in this adventure.
If your brand was a music, a movie, a cocktail...
"Daddy Cool" by Boney M. for the music, "La vie est un long fleuve tranquille" for the movie and a "Spritz" for the cocktail.
